English follows: いつも当たり前と思っていることが、それが手に入らなくなった時に感謝に変わる。台風の影響で停電を経験して初めて分かりました。電気。私たちの毎日の生活は電気がないと不可能です。照明、テレビ、パソコン、インターネット、洗濯、掃除、エアコン、扇風機、アイロン、電子レンジ、トースター、コーヒーメーカー、給湯器、熱いシャワー、マンションの水を組み上げるのも電気がないとできません。先週の日曜礼拝のタイトル、世の光、私たちには本当に光が必要なんです。

We take it for granted what we always have. But when we lose it,  it turns into greatfullness and blessings.  The electricity has been always there, so we can use the lights, watch TV, work on computer and Internet, make hot coffee with a coffee machine, cook with microwave oven and toaster, washing machine, ironing, vacuum cleaner, hot water heater, air conditioning and fan, you name it!   The title of the sermon of the last Sunday service at my church was “The Light of the World”.  Yes, we need a light to survive!  Thank you, Jesus.
